Project Supervision
- Oversee all on-site construction activities for sitework projects including earthwork, excavation, grading, utilities, drainage, paving, and related infrastructure.
- Read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts.
- Coordinate daily field operations and sequencing of work.
- Conduct daily jobsite meetings and communicate expectations to crews and subcontractors.
- Enforce company safety policies and OSHA standards.
- Conduct jobsite safety meetings and ensure proper documentation.
- Identify and correct unsafe conditions immediately.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Coordinate manpower, equipment, and materials to meet production goals.
- Monitor productivity and implement corrective action when needed.
- Maintain daily reports, production logs, and site documentation.
- Ensure all work meets project specifications and quality standards.
- Coordinate inspections and testing as required.
- Identify and resolve field issues promptly.
Communication & Coordination
- Act as primary field contact for Project Manager, subcontractors, inspectors, engineers, and owners.
- Coordinate utility installations (storm, sanitary, water, electrical, etc.).
- Manage subcontractor performance and enforce contract scope.

Equipment & Materials Management
- Coordinate heavy equipment usage and logistics.
- Ensure materials are delivered on time and stored properly.
- Monitor fuel usage, equipment maintenance, and downtime.

Qualifications
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil/sitework construction.
- Proven experience supervising earthwork, grading, underground utilities, and paving.
- Strong knowledge of construction sequencing and production methods.
- Ability to read blueprints and civil drawings.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- OSHA 30 Certification preferred.
- Valid driver’s license required.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in heavy civil/sitework construction.

- Experience with GPS machine control systems.
- Knowledge of DOT/prevailing wage projects.
- Familiarity with construction management software.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making ability.
