- Award all scopes of work on a timely basis, ensuring that each scope is all-inclusive including taxes and insurance
- Draft subcontracts to be thorough, complete, and all-inclusive i.e. payment terms, safety policies or requirements, insurance requirements, etc.
- Coordinate preparation of submittals
- Coordinate the preparation of PO’s
- Write change orders and update Change Order Log
- Attend kick-off meeting with Field Supervisor to discuss the job and products
- Procurement of materials and track lead times
- Attend job site meetings as required
- Coordination with subcontractors
- Order hardware required for installation
- Provide Field Supervisor with installation instructions and hardware needed for all products
- Provide consistent communication and follow-up with customers, vendors, and subcontractors
- Analyze Cost Reports
- College Degree and/or minimum of five years field supervisory experience required
- Demonstrated supervisory skills
- Basic building construction knowledge preferred or experience in carpentry or drywall installation
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, plus a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite is required
- Experience with estimating software (e.g., Bluebeam, Onscreen Takeoff, etc.)

Associated Builders and Contractors of Connecticut (CT ABC) is a construction industry trade association representing Merit Shop contractors in Connecticut. We are a voluntary membership organization working to support and advance the entire construction industry. Membership also consists of both Supplier and Associate members who work side by side with our contractors to move the industry forward.
